Author Bio

Kristine served on active duty in the US army from 2003-2007, surviving two tours of combat and providing her plenty to write about. Wanting to share more than her war, she has recently begun to write short fiction and prose poetry. Kristine earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Liberty University. She is currently resides in her hometown of Denver Colorado with her dog-sized cat, Trixy and her dog, Eleanor.  

Kristine’s published work can be found in Northern Colorado Writers Vice & Virtue anthology, Sapphic Writers Zine # 5, Passengers Literary Journal, Proud to Be Volume 8, an anthology through SEMO Press, Kleft Jaw Press, Still Coming home, an anthology through the Colorado Humanities, and 0-Dark-Thirty. Forthcoming in 2021 her debut poem and a hybrid fiction short which won honorable mention will appear in Proud to Be Volume 10, an anthology through SEMO Press. Additionally, she has recently made it into the “Best of” zine which will be published through Sapphic Writers.
